SOUNDTRACK TO THE YEAR WE’LL NEVER FORGET
Giving Young People A Voice in 2020
In 2012 Action Amanda wrote ‘Big Songs for Little Ones’ to give children something they didn’t have – music that was made for them, that resonated with them… lyrics that were powerful, contemporary and opened their eyes on the big wide world. The tracks about looking after one another, celebrating diversity and caring for our planet were relevant then, but they’ve taken on a whole new meaning in 2020.
Sing A Rainbow
Rainbows are everywhere this year – a symbol of togetherness and hope. This track is a fitting tribute to the strength, resilience
and courage children have shown and a great big thank you to all the frontline health workers and key workers who are bravely fighting the fight against Covid-19.
1,2,3,4,5… it takes 5 to make the world come alive.
This track is about celebrating togetherness, diversity and our differences. It’s about understanding that we all have a place, that every life matters and that together we are stronger.
When I Grow Up… what kind of world will be left for me?
A powerful reminder to those who choose to destroy lives, communities and our planet that this world isn’t ours – it’s something
we all have a duty to protect for our children and our children’s children.
